Bedworth United gets £2,000 cash boost

Coventry Editorial 21st Oct, 2023   0

BEDWORTH United has been given a much-needed cash boost local construction firm Bellway.

Bellway has given the club £2,000 to sponsor the club’s matches during the 2023/24 season and fund equipment including matchday balls.

The housebuilder previously donated £1,000 to the club for new balls, bibs and other equipment as well as funding a new kit for two of the club’s junior teams.

Bedworth United is a not-for-profit community club, with all revenue and fundraising fed back to the club for its day-to-day running.

Dale Buckland, General Manager at Bedworth United Football Club, said: “It’s fantastic to have secured another partnership deal with Bellway.

“The club relies massively on sponsorship so to have Bellway back on board so soon after they funded new kit for our junior teams is a big deal.”
