COVENTRY City Council has said the extreme heat will cause some disruption to bin collections today.
The council said on Twitter that any bins not picked up today will be collected tomorrow and asked people to leave their bin out overnight.
Earlier today the council said that they were giving bin crews the option to go out an hour earlier than usual and asked residents to have their bins out by 6am.
