THE BODY of a missing Bedworth man has been found in an Exhall field.

Adrian Turner’s body was found by officers from Warwickshire Police in a field off Coventry Road, opposite The Old Black Horse pub, yesterday morning (Thursday, December 7).

Mr Turner, aged 43, was last seen at his home address in Silk Weaver’s Way, Bedworth, at 9.30am on Boxing Day and was reported missing later that day.

A post mortem examination will take place in the next few days.

Investigating officer DI Andrew Reynolds said: “We would like to thank members of the media and public for their help in trying to find Mr Turner.

“His family has now asked for time to come to terms with their loss and we ask that their wishes are respected.”

Mr Turner’s body was found just hours before another body was discovered in a river just off Alderminster Road in the Eastern Green area of Coventry.
