Over 69 per cent of the cohort achieved grades between A* and C and / Distinction* and Merit.
70 per cent of Year 13 students secured places at university and eight students are heading off to start degree apprenticeships.
Maya and Joshua achieved a very impressive D*D*D* in BTEC Triple Science; this is the equivalent to three A* grades and 75 per cent of the cohort received Distinctions.
Chief Executive, Stewart Tait, said: “I am delighted that students at the WMG Academies have had their commitment and endeavours rewarded with impressive examination results that will allow them to progress to the next stage of their journey, be that University, Apprenticeships or direct employment.
“Whilst it is always pleasing to report year on year improvements in results, this year has seen a significant increase in the highest grades gained in A Levels (A*-B) and in Technical Qualifications at Distinction * and Distinction.
“In our areas of specialism, over a third of students achieved the very highest grades.
“Once again, there is a very impressive range of destinations that have been secured by Year 13 students that they and their Teachers and parents should be rightly proud of.”
Cardinal Wiseman Catholic School

A number of students also graduated from Cardinal Wiseman’s School of Sanctuary foundation programme, including Emir and Hajar, who will both be studying law at Russell group universities.
The programme is for student who have recently moved to the UK and have little understanding of the language.
Emir, moved to England from Turkey in 2019, said: “I feel like today is the peak day of my entire adventure.
“All those five years was basically just for today. My main goal to come here was to study in a good university and I feel like I’ve done it today and I’m really happy about it.
“I’m going to study law at the University of Nottingham.
Adjoa and Alisha have both secured places to study medicine at the University of Birmingham.
Nana achieved A*, A, B, B grades and will be pursuing Physics at the University of Warwick, Cathrine secured Dist*, A, A grades and will study Accounting and Finance at Aston University and Nurya achieved Dist*, Dist*, C and will study Accounting and Finance at Manchester.

West Coventry Academy

Most students secured their first university choice and a number of students secured some high-quality apprenticeships including places at NFU, Aviva and West Midlands Police.
Headteacher Ana Neofitou said: “I am delighted with these results which are testimony to a wonderful group of young people and the teachers who have worked tirelessly on their behalf.
“Thank you also to parents for supporting the school in preparing students so well over these last two years.
“We are proud to offer a wide range of post-16 courses at West Coventry Sixth Form, as well as a comprehensive personal development programme shaping habits, routines, attitudes and approaches to learning.
“We are pleased that our new post-16 facilities, state-of-the-art learning environment and purposebuilt accommodation including dedicated study areas have supported our students on their journey.
“Our congratulations go to all of our students and their families, as well as our best wishes for the future.”
Bablake

Bablake had a 100 per cent pass rate with almost half of all grades were A/A*.
Twins Beth and Bez have both won places at Oxford University – Bez will study Economics and Management and Beth will study Law.
Nomeda is celebrating with three A* grades and will also be studying Law at Ocford – A Lithuanian, her interest in law has been sparked by studying her country’s history and its repression under the Soviet Union.
Two pupils achieved four A* grades – Harry, who is heading to Manchester to read Mathematics and Physics, and Aaron, who has won a place to study Medicine at Birmingham University.
Bablake’s Headmaster, Andrew Wright, said: “These outstanding outcomes enable them to progress to a wonderful array of university courses, degree apprenticeships and other opportunities.
“We have pupils heading into wide-ranging fields including veterinary medicine, aerospace engineering, liberal arts, and international relations, which I think is testament to our determination to find the field in which each pupil can excel.
“I know they will go on to shape a better world. I am immensely proud of all they have achieved over their time at Bablake.”
King Henry VIII School

King Henry VIII School – VEX Robotics Winners
Seven students from King Henry have won places on courses to study medicine.
Raunak and Menagaa are heading to Oxford University as well as Hubert, Hemish, Aneel and Belle who are going to Oxbridge.
Sandeep will also be picking up a white coat – he studied for fie A levels whilst also having the responsibility of being a young carer.
He has been honoured in the Houses of Parliament for his contribution to the National Citizenship Service.
The school is making a name for itself in Robotics and Computer Science, with its team currently holding the world championship in the Vex Robotics Competition.
Members of the team have been awarded prestigious places including Surith, who will read aeronautical engineering at Imperial College after achieving three A* and an A.
Headmaster Philip Dearden said: “I’m delighted with this year’s results, which have seen a 100 per cent pass rate, and just under 70 per cent of entries gaining top A*/B grades.
“It’s wonderful to see the range of courses and institutions our young people are heading to – between them we’ll be seeing them saving lives, creating engineering wizardry, wowing in concert halls and art galleries, leading our diplomatic efforts, and heading up the big businesses of the future. I couldn’t be more proud.”
Caludon Castle Sixth Form
Students from Caludon Castle Sixth Form in Coventry are celebrating some high A-Level results.
Around 75 per cent of this years cohort will be going on to university in September, with others choosing apprenticeships or vocational pathways.
Among the high achievers are Maddi Black, who gained A* in History and A grades in Politics and Spanish, securing her place at Oxford University to study Law – Alaine Mariano, with A* grades in Maths, Further Maths, Physics, and Chemistry, and is off to Warwick University to study Maths.
Aayla Mumtaz, who earned A* grades in Biology and English Literature, along with A grades in Maths and AS Chemistry, will go on to study Medical Biosciences at Imperial College.
Sireen Munir, with an A* in Maths and Chemistry, an A in Economics, and a D* in Sport, has secured a highly coveted degree apprenticeship.
Ashley Ha, who achieved an A* in Biology, A grades in Chemistry and Maths, and a C in Further Maths, will be attending Sheffield University to study Biomedical Engineering.
