CANLEY Police are moving to a new site in Bow Court in early 2025 and work is underway to install security systems and essential features in the new building.
It is 640 meters from the current station and will house the Neighbourhood policing team, emergency Response officers and the specialist taskforce team.
It is a slightly smaller building with less desks but better laptops and equipment – allowing officers to carry out work in the community.
The cash raised from the sale of the current building will go back into policing.
Chief Superintendent Paul Drover, who is responsible for policing across the whole of Coventry, said: “Officers will be relocating to a newer base in the area which will support local neighbourhood officers, response teams and a pro-active unit.
“The move will see further investment in technology and equipment while ensuring a police presence for local communities.”
