Cannabis plants seized and one arrested in Radford area of Coventry

THE PUBLIC have been praised for providing information to help police seize a cannabis grow in Radford and arrest a suspect.

Officers raided the property yesterday and confiscated around 75 plants.

The person was held on suspicion of producing a class B drug.

Afterwards officers said: “It was all the amazing community intelligence – you are our eyes and ears.”

The plants will now be destroyed.

Anyone with any information on drug cultivation or dealing in their area should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
