STAFF and residents from Clarendon House are celebrating after their scarecrow display won first prize in the ‘Chair’s Choice’ at Allesley Festival.
The successful creation – ‘Worzel, Aunt Sally and friends’ afternoon tea’ – was a joint effort between those living at the care home, employees and manager Tracey Bates.
Tracey said: “Residents from Allesley reside with ourselves and prior to residing at Clarendon House Care Home they would participate in this festival.
“It’s also in line with our aim of ensuring residents keep in touch with their local community to live fulfiling and enriching lives.”
