STAFF and residents at Clarendon House Care Home in Allesley have donated 50 Easter eggs to Coventry Foodbank at The Halo Centre.

Messages of compassion, joy and love have also been created and attached to the chocolate treats wishing the recipients a happy Easter.

The home’s manager Tracey Bates said: “It was also a great opportunity to meet the team at Coventry Foodbank and commend them for the excellent work they all do.

“This event has been planned in line with our aim to ensure our residents live rich and fullfiling lives with a sense of purpose to make positive changes to those around them.

“They had great fun making the messages and engaging with their local community.”
