THE COLLATION and Installation of Sarah Snyder as the Archbishop of Canterbury’s adviser for Reconciliation as Honorary Canon will be hosted by Coventry Cathedral today (September 4).

During choral evensong at 4pm, Sarah Snyder will be collated and installed as an Honorary Canon by the Right Reverend Dr Christopher Cocksworth, Lord Bishop of Coventry, and the Very Reverend John Witcombe, Dean of Coventry.

Following her appointment as the Archbishop of Canterbury’s Adviser for Reconciliation, Ms Snyder will lead a team of people working for Lambeth Palace, but will be based at Coventry’s iconic Cathedral.

Reverend Canon Dr David Stone said: “We are delighted that Sarah will be based in both Coventry and London, working with our reconciliation team as she takes forward Archbishop Justin’s passion for reconciliation across the world.

“This service marks the start of her ministry here and is an opportunity for us to give thanks for her appointment and pray for her as she begins her new role.”

All members of the public are welcome to attend the service.
