THE BBC and Coventry City of Culture Trust are inviting audiences to an exclusive drive-in cinema experience for a unique screening of two BBC Four documentaries celebrating Coventry.

As part of Coventry, UK City of Culture’s ‘Summer of Surprises’ and in partnership with Coventry City of Culture Trust and Coventry City Council, the BBC will be showing two BBC Midlands’ and BBC Arts commissioned documentaries.

Councillor Abdul Salam Khan, cabinet member for events at Coventry City Council, said: “These are really interesting documentaries that will delve into Coventry’s rich history and heritage, from its iconic Cathedral to its legacy as being birthplace of the UK motor industry.

“How fitting that a documentary about cars is shown at a drive-in with the city’s Transport Museum as the background”

The documentaries, ‘Classic British Cars: Made in Coventry’ and ‘Coventry Cathedral: Building for a New Britain’ will be shown on Wednesday 4th August and Thursday 5th August at Millennium Place, Coventry.
