IT WAS celebration time at Clarendon House Care Home when Dorothy Donegan toasted her 102nd birthday.
During a thoroughly enjoyable day, Dorothy was treated to afternoon tea from the staff.
Dorothy, who has been at the home for almost a year, was born in Hampton-on-Arden and is one of nine siblings and has fond memories of playing in the nearby fields as a child.
She has fond memories of her dad teaching her how to play dominoes and cards which, staff say, she is still very good at today.
Dorothy married her husband Gerald and spent 53 years with him until he passed away.
She worked at the Standard Motor Company in Coventry.
