ALTHOUGH a lot of people will be off work over Easter, some will still be working and many will be relying on public transport to visit friends and family, go on nights out or for other essential travel.
While service changes have been announced, passengers are advised to plan ahead to avoid issues. Disruptions and changes can impact travel on any given day.
Here is a round up of the changes to bus and rail services over the extended bank holiday in Coventry:
National Express Coventry bus services
Good Friday
A Saturday timetable will run on Friday, March 29.
Saturday and Sunday
Services will run as normal on Saturday (March 30) and Easter Sunday (March 31).
Easter Monday
A Sunday timetable will run on Monday, April 1.
West Midlands Railway
Friday, March 29 – Good Friday
No changes to services have been announced.
Saturday, March 30
No changes to services have been announced.
Eastery Sunday, March 31
Due to early morning engineering work, until 10:20 buses will replace trains between Wolverhampton and Birmingham New Street.
Monday, April 1 – Easter Monday
No changes to services have been announced.
Arriva
Arriva has announced it is experiencing service disruption across some parts of its network due to national staff shortages. Some timings and routes will be affected over the Easter weekend.

Arriva will run a Saturday service.

Arriva will run a Sunday service.
