Charity band night to raise funds for Coventry's Myton Hospice

COVENTRY construction company The Deeley Group is hosting a charity band night to raise funds for the Myton Hospice.

The band night will be taking place at The Standard Triumph Club on September 23 with all funds going towards helping people living with a terminal illness and their families.

The event will see London band The Lost Keys take the stage and there will also be a raffle and auction featuring prizes donated by local companies.

This is their second band night and the first since the pandemic, with 2019’s event raising £7,500 for Molly Olly’s Wishes and attracting almost 200 guests.

Myton has been caring for people with terminal illnesses and their families for the past 40 years and supported over 1,500 people last year through their hospices in Warwick, Coventry and Rugby.

Yasmin Warburton, corporate fundraiser at The Myton Hospices, said: “We are hugely grateful to The Deeley Group for hosting this fantastic fundraising event for Myton.

“We have never needed the support more and every penny raised will help us continue to provide our service, free of charge, to terminally ill patients across Coventry and Warwickshire and their families.

“To continue these services free of charge would not be possible without the community and companies like The Deeley Group supporting us.

“Here’s looking forward to a fabulous evening.”
