A CHARITY which has a branch in Coventry has been awarded a £51,660 funding boost from the ScottishPower Foundation.
Aspire is one of seven to share the £1.2million funding pot aimed at aiding vulnerable people, communities and natural ecosystems across the nation.
Aspire provides practical help to people who have been paralysed by Spinal Cord Injury, supporting them from injury to independence.
Melanie Hill, from ScottishPower Foundation, which is now celebrating its tenth anniversary, said: “This is an incredibly exciting year for us, with so many amazing projects benefiting from our support and making a difference within their local communities.
“The real impact these initiatives will have for so many people can’t be understated, and I can’t wait to see what amazing work these charities will continue to do throughout the year.”
