A HOST of events at the Assembly Festival Garden will be on display throughout June to round off the City of Culture in style.

The Queen of Flanders Spiegeltent will feature the hilarious parody musical ‘Friendsical’ on June 21.

In the spoof of the hit TV sitcom Friends, you’ll get to find out whether Ross will find love again when Rachel comes back into his life after his wife leaves him.

Across the garden at the Piccolo, Coventry’s own magic man Jester Styles will be performing his amazingly unique act of magic and mayhem on June 9.

On June 11, comedy circus show ‘Chores’ will tell the story of two boys who have to clean up their room, while on June 18 there will be a retelling of the classic ‘Three Musketeers.’

Coventry’s pop-up comedy club will also be making a comeback, with the straight-talking Angela Barnes taking the stage on June 10 and Rosie Jones, who has been on ‘Live At The Apollo and The Last Leg, and the UK’s brightest new impressionist Luke Kempner will be performing the following night.

Other pop-up club highlights include social media star Abi Clarke and Sean Walsh from ‘Play to the Whistle’, who will both be performing on June 12.

June 17 will see ‘L O V E’, a time-traveling thriller comedy about love and all that’s wrong with it, take the stage.

And there will be a show showcasing the life and career of George Harrison on June 21, with a similar performance centred around Paul Simon happening the following night.
