CLOSURE orders had been secured against several Coventry properties after anti-social behaviour and drug dealing concerns.
It’s now an offence for anyone not specifically named in the order to enter the buildings.
A warrant was carried out at the first property on Jardine Crescent earlier this month.
The property was believed to have been occupied by drug dealers.
Further closure orders were secured at properties on Henton Court, Faulkner House and E Thomas King House, which were all reported following concerns of anti-social behaviour and cuckooing.
Cuckooing is when vulnerable people are exploited by criminals, usually drug dealers, to let them use their homes for criminal activity.
And a further order was secured against a property on Stevenson Road after repeated complaints of loud music and anti-social behaviour.
Police will now work with Orbit Housing and Citizen Housing to make addresses safer places to live.
