Ryan Smith 23rd Jun, 2022

BEDWORTH Community Networking Group will be holding a free Open Day at Bedworth Market tomorrow.

The event will get underway at 10am and will last for three hours, where people can learn about the local services that can help them and their family with their mental health.

There will be information stands where you can get advice from Bedworth Library, Bedworth Leisure Centre, WCAVA, Bedworth Community Corner and Empower U Youth.

Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council’s communities team will be at the open day, as will Bedworth Fire Station, St Michael’s Children and Family Centre and many more.

There are plenty of taster sessions and those attending will also be able to pick up a goody bag.

Warwickshire County Council’s portfolio holder for environment, climate and culture, Coun Heather Timms said: “The Community Open Day is an opportunity for members of the Bedworth Workers Network to showcase their services and activities to Bedworth residents.

“The network has been meeting virtually for the past two years and now groups are back to meeting in person this is a good opportunity for residents to find out more about local support and services available whilst having fun.”
