BRITISH racing driver Damon Hill will celebrate the 20th anniversary of his World Championship win and the end of his time with Williams Martini Racing, with a visit to Race Retro, held at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire, from Friday, February 26 to Sunday, February 28.
And we have five fabulous pairs of tickets to give away.
Damon will appear on Sunday, and will be involved in interviews, Q&As and autograph sessions, while throughout the show, three of his most famous cars will be on display – the championship winning FW18, the 1993 FW15C with which Damon won his first Grand Prix, and a 1990 FW13B, the car Damon drove to made his debut as a Williams test driver.
There will also be tribute to rally legend Henri Toivonen with a display of three of the cars he drove in period on static display.
For those who like to see cars in action, don’t miss the Live Rally Stage on Saturday and Sunday, with a fantastic line-up of Group B and C Rally Cars and drivers including former three times British Rally Champion and James Bond stunt driver Mark Higgins, Rally legends and also triple British Rally Champions Russell Brookes and Dai Llewellin, to name a few.
Saturday afternoon will see one of the stars of TV’s ‘Storage Hunters’ Jessie McClure also getting involved, plus visitors can win a ride in a rally car with one of the celebrity drivers by setting the fastest time in a Group B rally simulator.
There will also be the extensive trader village featuring everything needed for the coming motorsport season – whether you are an armchair enthusiast or competitor – as well as the popular Autojumble.
