COOMBE Abbey Hotel has been nominated in the best hotel of the year category in two major awards.
The hotel is hoping to scoop the top prize in the Midlands Food Drink & Hospitality Awards (MFDHA) and the Muddy Stilettos prize.
The MFDHA awards will be celebrating the resilience of the best hotels, restaurants and pubs in the region, with Coombe Abbey the only one of the eight finalists to represent Coventry and Warwickshire.
Coventry’s Telegraph Hotel is one of four finalists that will be competing against Coombe Abbey in the Muddy Stilettos Awards.
The hotel has introduced new events as they’ve bounced back from the pandemic including the launch of the Abbey Artisan Market.
Coombe Abbey’s head of marketing, Rebecca Freeman said: “We are thrilled to receive these nominations following a roller-coaster couple of years for the industry.
“Our staff work immensely hard to create memorable experiences for guests and ensure they receive exceptional service. It’s great to be recognised for this.”
The winners for the MFDHA prize will be announced at an event at Birmingham’s Eastside Rooms on July 4, with the Muddy Stilettos Awards being handed out on June 21.
Voting for the MFDHA awards is still open. Visit https://www.mfdhawards.co.uk/vote-now/ to vote.
