THE COUNTDOWN is on to the ninth annual Balsall Common Fun Run.
Fitness fanatics are being asked to join in the annual run and help raise funds for the Lily Mae Foundation on September 17.
The foundation was set up by Balsall Common couple Ryan and Amy Jackson following the death of their daughter Lily Mae who was stillborn.
It supports parents and families who have tragically and traumatically lost a baby to stillbirth, neonatal death, miscarriage, or medical termination.
Runners can choose from a 5km or 10km route which will start and finish at Balsall Common Primary School.
There will also be a family 5km run, a mini-run, around 400metres, for children who are nursery , and primary school age, and a junior 5km for children to take part in.
And the charity is calling on non-runners to join them as volunteer marshalls from 10am until 2pm on the day.
Training will be given beforehand.
