A 25-year-old from Coventry has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder following a shooting in Bedworth last week.
The 25-year-old was arrested yesterday afternoon (July 3) at Euston Road Police Station in Leicester.
A man was shot while he was with two other men in the area of Dark Lane and Smercote Close at around 8.15pm on June 26.
The victim was found shortly after on Smorrall Lane with gunshot wounds to his chest and was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Two men were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder on the same day as the incident.
Two others were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder on Friday and Saturday, June 30 and July 1.
All have been released on bail pending further investigation.
