COVENTRY’s Herbert art gallery and museum is hosting its next Final Fridays event tomorrow, September 27 form 6pm to 9pm.
The event aims to celebrate and promote the cultural scene in the city as well as encourage people to explore the city and participate in events.
Evenings are themes and will link in with an event or exhibition which is happening at the museum.
Tomorrows event is called Final Fridays X Wellness and is set to be centered around wellbeing and relaxation.
There will be a mix of art, activities and social interaction including Embody XR dance based art game which is designed to reduce anxiety.
There will also be a variety of grounding craft activities, a mindful drinks bar, and the ‘Swap Shop’ – bring up to five items of clothing or accessories to take part, The VEND, and the museum’s gift shop.
Local DJ Saadaan will be playing on the night.
Herbert museum has partnered with The Yard who will be making cocktails and mocktails to raise cash for MIND.
Harriet Lovelock Bruce, the events coordinator at the Herbert, said: “Final Fridays are always a blast, but this one’s got a real feel-good vibe.
“Who wouldn’t want to sip a mindful drink, get stuck into some crafts, and try out this amazing dance game? It’s going to be a fab mix of fun and relaxation, and I can’t wait to see everyone there.”
