Coventry author inspires locals with series of poems

A COMPILATION of poems written to make readers smile, shed a tear and draw attention and inspire hope for a better life has been released by a Coventry author.

Lynda Taylor’s new book Life’s a Rhyme – You Just Gotta Write went on sale on November 30.

She said the collection was more than just poetry as it had potential ideas for song lyrics as well as inspiring ideas for TV, short sketches and even a film.

She added it had universal appeal for everyone from children to older generations.




“This book I’ve written is a compilation of topics that are all written in rhyme they will draw a smile, draw a tear, draw attention and draw hope for a much better life,” she said.

She added it gave an insight into the hearts and minds of leaders and celebrities with both educational points and motivational and inspirational rhymes which aimed to unlock people’s potential to live the life they had always wanted.


“It’s amusing, comforting, interesting and compelling and it raises awareness in so many different subject,” Lyda said.

“It’s a must read for anyone, whether you’re a lover of poetry or not.”

The book, published by Austin Macauley, will be available to buy from Amazon and all good bookshops.
