A COVENTRY based bowls club, celebrated a successful charity bowls match on Saturday (July, 27), raising £360 for Cancer Research UK.
With lovely weather gracing the event, 35 participants turned up to show their support and enjoy a day of friendly competition at Jaguar Bowls Club.
Some participants decided to dress up as characters, making the event even more fun.
Throughout the day, donations flowed in steadily, and organisers were pleased to see contributions still coming in even after the match concluded.
In addition to the money raised on the day, several people who were unable to attend have since made donations, adding to the total.
Donations for the charity match will remain open until August 19.
