RESIDENTS from a care home in Coventry have showed an artistic flare in an arts and crafts scheme.
Brandon House Care Home has encouraged its residents to get creative as part of the National Activity Providers Association Arts in the Care Home programme.
The home, which provides dementia care for 35 residents, takes part on the scheme every year and aims to highlight wellbeing benefits of arts and creative activities.
This years theme, ‘Home’, celebrated the role of arts and community within care settings.
Residents were asked for a description of their former homes and then made the homes from dry clay which were then painted.
The finished houses were displayed on the wall of the care home like a street.
