COVENTRY Cathedral won an award in the Welcome Category of VisitEngland’s 2021-22 Visitor Attraction Accolades.
The Cathedral was one of 97 attractions to receive awards, which highlight the quality and diversity of visitor experiences at venues across the country.
The awards were introduced in 2014, with venues participating in VisitEngland’s visitor attraction quality scheme eligible to take part including museums and galleries, farm attractions, historic houses and gardens, churches, cathedrals and country parks.
The Cathedrals head of tourism and engagement Carla Crawley said: “We are absolutely thrilled with this award which celebrates the hard work of not only our Welcome Team but the wider Cathedral staff and volunteer team”.
