COVENTRY City have encouraged supporters to #ClapForAmber at this weekend’s home match against Norwich City in memory of young Canaries supporter Amber Sheehy.
Amber battled an incurable brain tumour for four years and died with her parents by her side on Saturday, January 14 just one hour before her ninth birthday.
Her picture will be shown on the big screen at the Coventry Building Society Arena in the eighth minute of Saturday’s match.
And Coventry have asked their supporters to join Norwich fans in applauding in memory of the eight-year-old during Saturday’s fixture.
The request to applaud in memory of Amber was made by Amber’s Army – a Norfolk-based charity set up in her name.
