COVENTRY City have said the club is ‘increasingly positive’ they will be able to hold tomorrow’s game against Blackburn Rovers at the CBS Arena.
A statement released on the club’s social media said they have held further conversations this morning with Arena Coventry Limited and Coventry City Council, and hope to be able to confirm the news later today.
The Sky Blues added they remained in constant dialogue with the EFL and Blackburn is being kept up to date.
The club announced on Friday evening they were ‘exploring alternative backup plans’ to host the home game against Blackburn Rovers should the Arena be unavailable.
The period of notice of administration for Arena Coventry Limited currently ends today.
