COVENTRY College has become the UKs first further education provider to partner with a digital mental health platform to offer well-being support.
The withinu Mental Health Playbook will help learners build up their mental well-being by sending each student weekly tips they can apply to their daily life.
The college will also offer individual support.
Weekly emails will be sent to students throughout the year and messages will appear across campus and through the college’s social media channels.
Those who subscribe to the Playbook will also receive support materials including a gratitude journal, a health and wellness journal and a self-care workbook.
There will be discounts and offers from Coventry organisations including CV Life and students can attend monthly webinars led by leading mental health and motivation experts.
Withinu founder Danny Matharu said: “By supporting and educating learners through continuous exchanges of information, expert guidance, and simple, actionable ways for them to build and maintain their own mental health, we hope we can empower the learners to make a real difference to their mental health.
“It is widely recognised that early intervention is key when it comes to maintaining good mental health, so we hope this playbook makes a real difference for learners.
