COVENTRY College will be holding its first summer careers fair since before the pandemic on July 27.
The event runs between 11am and 2pm and is open to all visitors, with employers including the NHS, Severn Trent, CV Life, The Albany Theatre and Premier Inn set to be in attendance.
College students and graduates can make use of a dedicated CV and careers stand where staff will be discussing apprenticeship, traineeship, sector gateway programme opportunities and interviewing tips.
They will also get CV advice before handing them over to stands for employers to keep for current or future vacancies.
Coventry College’s sector engagement officer Charlotte Bench said:“We are extremely excited about this year’s summer careers fair, with some of the largest employers in Coventry and Warwickshire joining us to speak to our current crop of students about their plans for the future.
“We are also thrilled to be able to welcome other members of the public on the day as we return for the first time in three years.
“As a college based in the heart of Coventry, it’s important that we have the chance to share these opportunities with the wider community, especially those that are out of work or looking for a career change.”
