A COVENTRY dance teacher has been charged with the wilful neglect of a child.
Leeroy Bailey, who was a choreographer and teacher at Kombat Breakers, was arrested in February this year after ambulance colleagues were called to his address following concerns for the safety and welfare of a child entrusted to his care at the time.
The 35-year-old was released on police bail while an investigation was carried out.
He was charged on Friday, April 15 with wilfully neglecting a child under 16 and causing that child unnecessary suffering or injury.
He has been bailed to appear at Coventry Magistrates Court on May 19 with conditions not to contact the victim and not to have unsupervised contact with children under the age of 18.
