A WARWICKSHIRE food start-up is enjoying a taste of success as it launches a meat-free range at supermarket Morrisons.

Naughty Vegan, based in Leamington, is supplying chilled aisles at the retailer for the first time today (October 2).

Established in 2019, the vegetarian company makes alternative sausage rolls and pasties, and enlisted the help of Coventry food marketing agency Eat Marketing on its packaging and brand.

Creative Director at Eat Marketing, based at Coventry’s Electric Wharf, Theo Louca, said: “Naughty Vegan is all about irresistibly tasty food and it needed branding that would echo its cheeky persona in a creative way.

“We worked closely with the Naughty Vegan team to develop a brand that is bold, playful and emphasises how the products are naughty in taste, yet use natural ingredients.”

The product packaging uses the brand colour palette of a bold yellow set against black to ensure the vegan range stands out on supermarket shelves.

Naughty Vegan’s Sarah Wells said: “Eat Marketing has brought the Naughty Vegan brand to life. From the get go, the team has offered plenty of advice, inspiration and creative designs to help us launch our new vegan brand.”
