COVENTRIANS will be able to get a sneak peek into the life of a firefighter later this month at the Coventry fire station open day.
The open day will take place between 11am and 4pm on Saturday, July 29, during which people will be able to take a look inside a fire engine and enjoy some live demonstrations.
People will also be able to talk to fire and police cadets as well as meet a fire dog.
Other activities include a fire fitness test as well as experiencing different scenarios with virtual reality headsets.
And there will be plenty of food and other stalls as well as music to dance the day away to.
