Coventry house damaged as shots are fired by motorbike rider

A MAN on a motorbike fired shots at a house in Coventry last night.

It happened in Poole Road around 8.46pm.

After opening fire the rider rode off.

Fortunately no one was injured but there was damage to the property.

Police patrols have been stepped up in the area as a precaution and officers say that will continue into the weekend to reassure residents.

Investigations are in the early stages and anyone with any information or dash cam footage should call police on 101 or submit details via live chat at west-midlands.police.uk

Alternatively, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
