RESEARCH has revealed Coventry is the fourth best area in the UK for having the most electric vehicle (EV) chargers.
The city was one of only three in the country’s top ten to be from outside London.
Coventry has 86 per cent more public EV chargers this year – with 903 – compared to 485 in 2022.
Top of the table in the research by Drive Electric is Westminster with 1,832, second is Kensington and Chelsea (752) and third is Hammersmith and Fulham (624).
The research took both into account the number of public EV chargers and how many per 100,000 people.
It is great news for Coventry which is also set to become the UK’s first All Electric Bus City.
