A COVENTRY man had appeared in court over the murder of Leicestershire woman Natasha Morais.
Shannon Grant, of Rotherham Road, Coventry, has been charged with the murder of the 40-year-old after a three-day police investigation.
Police were called at 8.42pm on Thursday to a report of Natasha being unresponsive in an address in Loughland Close, Whetstone.
Officers entered the address, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Grant appeared at Leicester Magistrates Court today (Monday).
Four others were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
Three – two men, aged 22 and 53, and a 19-year-old woman – were released under investigation on Saturday.
The fourth, a 35-year-old woman, has been released on police bail while enquiries continue.
