Coventry man charged with attempted murder after stabbing in Stoke Aldermoor

A man is to appear before Coventry magistrates today charged with attempted murder following a stabbing in Stoke Aldermoor.

His 26-year-old victim is fighting for his life.

Warehouseman Hamza Mohumed, 24, of The Bentree, Stoke Aldermoor, was arrested yesterday morning from his home by detectives investigating a stabbing in The Moorfield on Friday.

The Willenhall man he is accused of stabbing remains in a critical condition in hospital.




Lead investigator, Detective Sergeant Joel Mildinhall, said: “Our investigation into the attack continues and I would urge anyone who was in the area at the time to contact me.”

Anyone with information which may help Det Sgt Mildinhall with his investigation should call him on 101.
