A COVENTRY man has been jailed for six months after breaching a criminal behaviour order.
West Midlands Police said Luke Campbell had been granted a two year CBO in May 2024 which banned him from going into the Hillfields area.
Campbell was banned from the area after a spate of thefts.
The 34 year-old was arrested last week and was sentenced at Coventry Magistrates Court on September 30, after pleading guilty to fraud, breaching a CBO and burglary.
The CBO, issued in May this year, bans him from entering Far Gosford Street, or any retail or business premises in Coventry city centre.
Campbell received the order after he was spotted by officers using stolen bank cards in shops – all of the cards had been stolen from vehicles in the Hillfields area throughout May.
He is also banned from approaching or entering any student accommodation in the city, as well as being banned from entering the Hillfields area.
