Coventry man speechless at winning James Bond's £4k watch

A SPEECHLESS Coventry man woke up to a £4,000 surprise when he found out he had won James Bond’s watch.

Benjamin Moir-Bussy, 45, won a £4,000 Omega watch – made famous by the legendary spy – after spending just 25p to enter BOTB’s luxury lifestyle competition.

He received the good news on an early-morning FaceTime call from BOTB presenter Christian Williams.

Benjamin, who was still asleep when Christian called, did not know what to say when he was told he had won an Omega Seamaster Diver 300 watch.

Unemployed Benjamin, who had to answer a question about cars to enter the weekly competition, said he couldn’t believe his luck.

He said: “I used to work as a metal finisher at a company that supplied parts to Bentley and Aston Martin. That was the closest I’ve ever been to James Bond before!

“I started playing BOTB on a whim about two months ago and I’ve had my eye on the watch for a while – it’s just amazing. I honestly never thought I would win it, and for a 25p ticket too! It’s incredible.”

Christian Williams, who surprises winners every week, was thrilled to give Benjamin the good news.

He said: “I always love to call people to give them the good news – but it’s not very often I end up waking people up!

“I’m sure Benjamin will agree that it was worth it though for such an incredible timepiece. I hope he has a lot of fun wearing it.”
