THE COVENTRY Music Museum has won a prestigious “Travellers Choice-Best of The Best” award from the international Travel review site Tripadvisor. The Traveller’s Choice Award, which is Tripadvisor’s highest recognition and is presented annually to those attractions that earn excellent reviews from travellers and are ranked in the top one per cent of properties worldwide.
Museaum director Suky Singh said of the award: “We are very happy of course to have this award, especially during such strange times, the Museum (and the 2-Tone Village), has struggled like many other places, but with all our health and safety procedures now in operation it feels great to be open again. This award will just give us even more direction and will make us strive to give our visitors an even better experience. I want to thank all the Volunteers and our team and our amazing visitors who have continually supported us.”
To celebrate this award and to thank all the people who donated to the museums recent crowd funding campaign that raised an amazing £5,500 and helped them through difficulty during the lockdown the museum and the 2-Tone Village have promised some amazing offers on rare items (some of them one-offs and signed) every weekend in August.
