A COVENTRY music teacher has been charged with two counts of sexual assault.
Vjekoslav Dvorak, from Coventry, is charged with assaulting a girl by touching and engaging a child in non-penetrative sexual activity between May 2013 and May 2016.
The 62-year-old worked as a music teacher across Coventry and Warwickshire and was arrested in May this year following an allegation made by a former pupil.
Specialist officers are working closely with the schools concerned.
Detective Inspector Jo Floyd from the force’s Public Protection Unit said: “The investigation is on-going and we take any report of sexual offences seriously.
“We are dedicated to helping anyone who may have been a victim of such crimes, who I would urge to call us on 101.
“We have specially trained officers who investigate such matters in a discreet and professional manner, and who can support you through the entire investigation process.”
He will appear before Coventry Magistrates Court on December 22.
