IF YOU have struggled to find a parking space in Coventry, you’re not alone – the city has been named as one of the hardest places in the UK to source one.
With 139,950 vehicles registered and 7,105 designated spaces, the city is ranked in the top ten worst areas.
The ‘space for every 19.7 cars’ statistic puts it in ninth place in the survey by All Car Leasing.
Coventry is ninth in the list with Birmingham occupying the top spot with 634,260 registered vehicles and 12,304 spaces – 51.5 cars for every space.
Making up the top five was Edinburgh in second, then Bradford, Leeds and Stoke-on-Trent.
The easiest place to park were Norwich, where there is a space for every six cars.
Next were Reading and Southampton with Wolverhampton in tenth.
