THREE Coventry neighbours celebrated winning £1,000 each last week on the People’s Postcode Lottery.
The trio, living in Recreation Road, landed the windfall when CV6 7AW was announced as a People’s Postcode Lottery Daily Prize winner on Wednesday.
People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Danyl Johnson sent his well-wishes and said: “What great news – congratulations to our winners, I hope they enjoy their winnings.”
A minimum of 32 per cent of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised over £600million to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond.
This draw was promoted on behalf of Crisis which has received more than £5.7million in funding thanks to players.
The charity is dedicated to ending homelessness and throughout the year helps approximately 10,000 people in England, Scotland and Wales.
Many good causes close to the winners have also benefitted from players’ support, and local charities can apply for funding next year.
