COVENTRIANS will be transported to a winter wonderland with a glistening big wheel set to come to Broadgate this Christmas.
The wheel, which is over 100ft, will be open to adults and children to ride throughout the day and into the evening.
There will also be market stalls selling festive food, drinks and gifts in Broadgate and Upper Precinct.
If planning permission is approved, the wheel and markets will open to the public on Saturday, November 18 and will be in place until Sunday, January 7.
The wheel will operate every day from 11am until 10pm except Christmas Day.
Paul Jones, Managing Director of Visit Coventry, said: “This stunning big wheel, showcasing our unique city skyline, will be the jewel in Coventry’s Christmas crown this winter.”
