COVENTRY Building Society Arena, is set to open its doors to the public for exclusive access-all-areas tours for the first time.
These tours will grant ticket holders access to parts of the Arena typically off-limits to the public, allowing them to walk in the footsteps of the many famous artists and athletes who have graced the venue since its opening in 2005.
The arena hosted a dazzling array of pop and rock stars, including The Rolling Stones, Harry Styles, Coldplay, Rihanna, The Arctic Monkeys, The Spice Girls, P!NK, Take That, Florence and The Machine, and Bon Jovi.
The stadium, home to Coventry City Football Club, will offer fans the opportunity to see the first-team dressing room, walk inside the tunnel, and visit the media room where manager Mark Robins holds his post-match press conferences.
Guided tours of the 32,000-seater stadium and the adjoining arena will be conducted at 10am and 12:30pm on July 27, and August 15.
These dates come just days before the Sky Blues’ first home match of the new Championship season.
The tours will also feature Q and A sessions and photo opportunities with special guests.
Mark O’Shea, catering and experience director at Coventry Building Society Arena, said: “These tours will offer football and music fans alike rare access to parts of the stadium that are usually off limits to the public.
“Guests can stroll down the same corridors as popstars Harry Styles and Alex Turner did before their recent sold-out shows here, and Sky Blues supporters will be able to say they have sat exactly where Haji Wright puts on his kit.
“The tours are also a must for proud Coventrians who simply want to learn more about their city and its premier entertainment venue.
“We look forward to hosting you all.”
Ticket holders will enjoy a 10 per cent discount at the CCFC Club Shop for purchases made on the day and a 20 per cent discount in The Anecdote bar for dining on the day (excluding drinks).
Admission also includes an official Arena Tour Lanyard and Pass.
