Conservative Candidate launches campaign to save police stations

THE CONSERVATIVE candidate Sarah Lesadd has launched a campaign in Coventry East to ‘save local police stations’.

Miss Lesadd worked in the civil service for over five years before entering politics.

The candidate is campaigning on a platform to overturn proposals to close Foleshill and Willenhall stations – she said it will deprive local residents of access to vital services.

Miss Lesadd is also proposing to improve local railway stations and provide better access to the constituency, as well as scrap parking ticket charges for health professionals at the local hospital.

Miss Lesadd, Conservative Prospective Parliamentary Candidate said: “Coventry East is a vibrant, dynamic constituency which has been badly let down by years of Labour complacency and incompetence.

“It’s astonishing that the needs and aspirations of so many hardworking people have been utterly neglected, and I’m standing a platform to bring real change and tangible action to give local people the strong representation they deserve.”
