COVENTRY Cathedral will be getting in the holiday spirit with festive music echoing through its hallowed halls at its annual Christmas charity fundraiser.
A Christmastide Celebration will be held at the Cathedral on Saturday, December 9 at 6pm to raise funds for Coventry and Warwickshire Children’s Charity.
The concert is being presented by Coventry Cathedral Chorus, which will perform a host of classic Christmas carols alongside the Brass Band of Central England, Heart of England School and Coventry Cathedral Choristers.
They will also be performing festive favourites, while refreshments will also be available.
The charity was launched in 1996 and has raised more than £3million in Coventry and Warwickshire for children who have suffered from physical, mental, or sexual abuse.
Tickets cost £15 for adults, £13 for over-60s, £7.50 for children and students and £40 for a family of two adults and two children.
