COVENTRY has been named amongst the UK’s most in-demand areas for home buyers.
Recent research conducted by leading house builder Avant Homes has unveiled Coventry as one of the most sought-after cities for home buyers across the UK.
The study analysed the average monthly online searches for the phrase ‘Houses for sale in…’ in towns and cities with populations exceeding 100,000.
With around 20,900 average monthly searches over a 12-month period, Coventry secured the ninth spot on the list, just trailing behind Swansea, which recorded 21,500 average monthly searches.
Alicia Hattersley, group head of marketing at Avant Homes, said: “As a house builder, we understand how people use online searches to start and inform their home buying journey.
“We know it plays a huge role and with Avant Homes having developments near Coventry, we have experienced increased web traffic in those locations over the same period.
“With interest rates now stable and predicted to fall, which will have a knock-on effect of further reductions in mortgage rates, more people should be in a position to buy the homes they have been searching for.”
