A COVENTRY home arranged a summer fete and raised £860 in the process.
MHA Charnwood House opened its doors to the community and set up a fete to raise cash by donations.
The fete had a barbeque and cake stall for those who attended.
Ruth Morgan, activity coordinator said: “There was a really good turnout for this year’s summer fete and it was a real team effort.
“The weather was nice, we had plenty going on and it was nice to see everyone having a good time.
“We got some really lovely feedback from everyone and that was very positive.
“In regard to the money we have raised, we will look for ideas on how to best use it in our next twirl meeting.
“On behalf of everyone at the home, I want to thank everyone who supported the fete and look forward to arranging something like this again.”
