COVENTRY’S Herbert Art Gallery and Museum has been selected to host a world-renowned photography exhibition showcasing stunning wildlife from across the globe.

The incredible images from this year’s Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition will be on show at the museum from Friday, October 27.

The exhibition is on loan from London’s Natural History Museum until April 1 and shines a spotlight on fascinating species from across the globe.

The museum will be the only English venue besides the Natural History Museum to host the lightbox edition, which will see the images brought to life in a vibrant digital display.

The Wildlife Photographer of the Year was launched in 1965 and is the most prestigious photography event of its kind, with almost 50,000 people from 95 countries entering the competitions latest edition.
